While it launched to some decent reviews, players would like to see certain aspects of Dungeons and Dragons: Dark Alliance improved. Almost universally, fans and critics alike have disliked certain parts of Dark Alliance. The camera has been a common criticism, as well as some of its visuals and enemy behavior. The developer, Tuque Games, has promised to improve the game with future updates. Many consider the game to be at its best while with a group, but this doesn’t mean it can’t be beaten while playing solo....

Players can expect whimsy and wonder, alongside a healthy dose of the eerie, with this new adventure sourcebook. Hopefully, the expansion will supplement the Faerie creatures already mentioned in D&D. Further to that, more detail on the actual Feywild itself would be a phenomenal tool for both DMs and players. Whatever the case may be, the new Dungeons and Dragons sourcebook looks like a massive change in tone and theme from previous adventures, despite keeping elements from other recent D&D books....

For Baldur’s Gate 3 to really capture the essence of D&D’s breadth of enemies, it needs to draw from the entire spectrum and provide players with a sense of growth. Fighting a dragon is entertaining, of course, but taking one down at level one and again at level twenty won’t give players a feeling of advancement. Rather, lower level bosses in Baldur’s Gate should be unique and imposing, but also scaled to where the player is at in terms of skill and experience....
