Dungeon Defenders: Awakened has been playable for some time in Steam’s early access program, but the full 1.0 release version will come with even more additions to the game. This will also be the third entry in the Dungeon Defenders series, bringing with it a brand new story, updated visuals, and more locations throughout Etheria for players to explore.

Dungeon Defenders: Awakened releases on May 28, and its full version will include additional game modes, bosses, stages, and gear that aren’t available in early access. Players will be able to face off against the Ancient Dragon and Goblin Mech bosses, play on both Mixed and Pure Strategy modes and try their hand at beating their enemies while on Massacre Difficulty; plus, they’ll be able to collect new pets, and access more challenge maps. With Pure Strategy mode, players must rely entirely on siege tactics to win the game, while Mixed mode is a more chaotic experience that randomizes enemy spawns.
In less than a month, interested players can defend Etheria from the forces of darkness; the action RPG entails assembling fortifications during the build phase of each match and then using them to fend off waves of enemies during the combat phase.
Dungeon Defenders: Awakened releases on May 28 for PC, with console and Switch versions coming later in 2020.
