The show received a second season renewal according to a story by The Hollywood Reporter Tuesday that was later confirmed by the official Duncanville Twitter account. Disney has seemingly delayed multiple Fox movies since the pandemic broke out, yet both Duncanville and another new animated comedy Bless the Harts have both been picked up early for the television network’s 2020-21 broadcast schedule.

This animated television series was brought to Fox by the creative minds of Amy Poehler and Simpsons alumni Mike and Julie Scully. Ty Burrell, Wiz Khalifa, and Rashida Jones are among the show’s voice cast.
As Duncanville sees its renewal other productions have either been delayed, such as Sony’s Uncharted movie, or will be premiering early, like TNT’s Snowpiercer series.
